I made an honest effort to dig up (no pun intended!) some authentic information about the holes — how they came into existence, when, how deep, etc.
Strangely enough, I could not find any information that I could testify was authentic, and even some reputed sites had just published the photos with full background info.
So it’s on my list of things-to-do to find out the why’s and the how’s of these holes, and when I do, they will be published.

No descriptions of their origins? Some sinkholes. Some man made?

Most of these holes (The corkscrews) are actually mines. 2 or 3 are strange, others are ordinary.
