Not just any healthcare job

In a world where specialty is the order, it pays (well!) to work in a niche where the competition is the least and growth prospects are the highest. Nuclear medicine is one such area where, with the growing importance of radiology in diagnosis, jobs offer satisfaction in many levels.

Nuclear medicine technologist jobs could range anything from being a radiologist and a radiology assistant to an X-ray technician. These jobs mainly call for skills to interpret scanned images and determine health status of patients. One will also need to have the aptitude of dealing with patients while preparing them for the necessary imaging procedures.

Nuclear medicine generally take the top rung when it comes to compensation. A specialist registered radiology assistant to expect to start at $80,000 per year.

Bringing the sun indoors

The legend ‘there’s nothing like a free lunch’ applies to every area in our lives, but there could be exceptions. For instance, you can get a nice tan without actually exposing your body to the harmful rays of the sun!

This is where tan towels come in. They’re not a dye, neither a bronzer, which simply change the color of the skin… more like paint. Self tan towels have chemicals ingrained in them, which work with the proteins in the skin to produce that romantic tan.

Moreover, TanTowels work gradually to produce a natural tan. Plus you can control the intensity of the tan that’s perfect for your skin tones. So it’s time to bring in the sun this summer!

Where do you see yourself 1,000 years from now?

It soon could be time to plan your career for 1,000 years – if the progress made in anti-aging so far is any indication.

A British biomedical researcher says that the first person who will live to see their 150th birthday has already been born and the first person who will live to 1,000 is likely to be born less than 20 years after the first person to reach 150.

“I’d say we have a 50/50 chance of bringing aging under what I’d call a decisive level of medical control within the next 25 years or so,” Aubrey de Grey said.

He added that his own lifetime scientist could have all the means they need to combat aging, which includes eradicating diseases that threaten to shorten life span.

De Grey said that people may have to get a a routine ‘maintenance’, which will include gene therapies, stem cell therapies, immune stimulation and an array of other advanced medical techniques to keep them in shape.

Using heat to burn off fat

No one is born with unwanted fat. So it only goes to bolster the fact most of the fat accumulated at any part of the body does not serve any purpose and to top it, can produce unpleasant effects both socially and physiologically.

Men and women have struggled to get rid of this fat in varying ways with different results. While walking and home workouts are favorites, an often overlooked way is the use of fat reducing agents such as slimming pills and thermogenic fat burners.

Thernogenics refers to process of producing heat, and the fat burners – while acting as supplements – just act as a catalyst to metabolism. In other words, they generate heat within the body that directly burns the extra layers of fat within the body.

Thermogenic fat burners can be an excellent way to start with exercises to get rid of that stubborn belly fat. However, there are different types of formulations of products and brands available, and as always, while doing some research and reading reviews, one must also consult one’s dietician in order to kick off a program for top results.

The race against fat

It’s invisible, but most can feel it – the race against fat. Given the sociological and health issues caused by unwanted layers of fat, we are all running the race of losing weight as fast as possible.

This so-called race has blinded some to a few basic facts about diet and weight loss pills and supplements. The fat burning market has sensed this – probably centuries ago – and has flooded the bazaar with a number of formulations. And with each new drug, the layman gets confused a notch higher.

Now, Lipozene, an established name in weight loss supplements, has been trusted and used by millions of Americans. However, just as any other successful product in history, it does carry its share of controversies, most of them revolving around Lipozene side effects.

The official website of Lipozene claims there are side effects, but it does contain glucomannan, or konjac root, to which some may be allergic. In any case, to make an educated decision, the best starting place would be read what people who have used it have to say, and scan reviews of the drug.
