The language of business

Professionals speak in a tongue that only people in the same industry can follow. And that is even more highlighted in the finance sector. The finance/banking folks speak in a lingo bordering on business.

If you’re in any way ambitious of catching up with them, the least you should have is a degree in finance. And needless to say, that would be worth the while, since finance still is the most lucrative among careers. (If the annual statements of some banks lately are anything to go by.)

Having said that, it’s no wonder that accounting jobs are among the sought after, and especially more so given the fluctuating state of economy these days. Basically it would seem like you’d be keeping books, but the nature of the job goes much beyond that, into management accounting and budget analysis. That’s just big time!
