A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream guy so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.
Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

this riddle is flawed in its construction because the goal of it is to find someone who will say ’she kills her sister to try to meet this guy again at her funeral;’ but if he is attending both her mother’s and sister’s funerals, then chances are he’s related to her directly in some manner. so his attendance would (well, should hopefully) exclude him from being a desirable partner.

My take on it is that her sister is an identical twin. Since it was a funeral, both were wearing black, possibly veils- and could have been difficult to differentiate.
Furthermore, being identical twins, they’re likely to be attracted to similar things in men- so her sister was just as likely to have been smitten by this fellow. The other sister and Mr. Perfect had exchanged contact information and probably had been seeing each other - for quite some time. This is why the original woman was seemingly never spoken to again. Mr. Perfect had believed he already DID get together with her.

The woman is schizophrenic and the “mystery man” is in her mind. His appearance is the trigger that lifts her out of her depressed state after she murders the ones she loves. She murders the one she loves because after the funeral the “man” and the feeling of euphoria that he brings eventually dissapears sending her back into depression. Each time the “man” is different and new because each person she kills is different. This is a cyclical pattern of behavior that would potentially see her murder everyone she’s ever loved until finally killing herself upon realizing that the “man” (now that all her loved ones are dead) will never come back…
