Making home theater versatile

Lately, everyone wants ‘more’ in everything. For instance, there’s got to be an alarm clock in the radio, and a grille in the microwave. The same with the home theater – I hear you ask, what else can it do?

Thankfully, home theaters are keeping up-to-date and with the new models such as the 5.1 home theater system enabling connection to the PlayStation, Xbox and Wii, so it doubles up quickly as a gaming monitor with fantastic cinema-like sound effects.

You also find home theater PCs which, of course can connect you to the Web, let you write emails… etc. But I guess that would put someone back in the ‘work mode’ and take the fun away from the cinema enjoyment of the home theater system.
